I've been wanting to get one of these airpets ever since I saw them at the Hobbes and Landes display window last August.♥

I went in and asked for it and the manong said the alpaca I wanted sells for around P600, and the puffy puppies go for around P500. :(
And I say, "Ah.. Ang mahal. Hehe." and went all sadface.
BUT!!! The manong at the store justifies it by saying that they were refillable for freeeeee! And I say, "Talaga, kayo po ang iihip??!" xDDDD
and he gave me an ohnoez face D: "Hindi po. May helium po, ma'am."
"Aaaaaaah. Hehe. *medio disappointed*"

And then [info]francisespiritu said it was a Brontosaurus.
And [info]iamreallyk said it was a T-Rex.
And nobody wanted me to get a very expensive useless pseudo-alpaca.
Sadface. Sadface. Sadface.

So I went for the puppy instead! At least talagang puppy! :D
But.. but. The bimbo sisters say no. Even moar sadface.




BUTTTTTTTTT!

They started selling the puppies cheap at Toy Kingdom!!!♥♥♥

I've chosen the one with a misprinted nose because I was too excited, but I love him~♪♫♥ and we have fun tiemz documented since they don't refill the puppies with helium for free at Toy Kingdom and I need to take him to a balloon store and I've no idea where to find one, so he's slowly deflating and dying on me after 4 days. :(♥

I named him Baka because he looks like a cow.♥
Hehehe. In the end, I got a pseudo-cow.

After my dachshund died, we went and got a black labrador and named him Chewie. :) And then I got Baka and now we have Chewbacca! :D

It's the same! :) Although "mahal" can equate to "love" too, as in "Mahal kita" = "I love you." :D Love is expensive, LOL.

the first time i saw that "air pet" is also on Hobbes and Landes and the first thing i told myself, "Ang Mahal". and you could see the young kids dragging one. :D even my sister told me that it's very expensive just for a dog that flies. hahaha, we're making a joke everytime we saw one, look a flying dog.:D

so toy kingdom sells it cheap, haven't been there for a while.

"Ang mahal" means "(That's) expensive."

And I asked the manong (random name for random big brothers), "Really, would you personally blow air into it??!" or something, and he says, "No (po=random word you add for respect). We have helium for that, ma'am."

I really wanted to see it getting refilled manually. :D

LOL it's alrite! :D Yeah you read every syllable as is. We have two extra letters in the alphabet tho- "ng" and "ñ". :) I wonder if I can ever identify all the extra letters for tiếng Việt :D

I..don't know. :D the image just popped in my head and before I could stop myself, I blurted it out. :D
