4Ayup. Back in fifth grade
[1], I never liked the Backstreet Boys or NSYNC, or boybands in general, with the exception of crack-funny LFO songs.
Now that I finally have time to churn, my sister'd
[2] introduced me to Japanese pop culture and TV dramas, and as you can see from a coupla entries down, I've been successfully inducted into Japanese boyband fandom as well. :D
Being the
schizophrenic audiophile that I am, I'm no stranger to foreign que-pasa-anu-daw music
[3]. I can even name a handful of favourite Japanese bands.. but because of my aversion to the "western boyband pop" genre, I passed on these bands for so long, and now I've realized how much I've missed out. :D (same way when I found out that DAYUM! I like Justin Timberlake's music! :D Fackarr, I like Justin Timberlake too!) Haha! Because of this
hallelujah chance, I now like KAT-TUN and NEWS!♥ And because they're not actually just bands, but are
idol groups, there's a plethora of media they pop up in. They sing, dance, act, do concerts, release DVDs, appear on dramas and TV shows, record radio shows, and go on and on. Keeping up with it is a hoot. :D
I fangirl this smart boy on
this radio show and the sexy birthday boy below. ♥
( SHIGET TOGETHER! )๑۩۞۩๑

[1] what did I like, then? The Spice Girls. :D I even bid for a Manila leg when they went on World Tour! We must've lacked votes that time, but LET'S GO, MANILA! LET'S VOTE TO HAVE MANILA ON MONOPOLY NEXT! :D
[2] I love how that sounds like "turd." Hahaha~ I love you Beebee!
[3] I jump from my usual indie and alt rock, to house and chillout, to Korean hip-hop, Finnish metal, French R&B, J-Rock, and Icelandic. This OMI thing on last.fm says my charts score a 153 on their scale. >.< It's all confusing.
