Already passed twice, and yet. :/

I got accepted as an intern at the Office of Senator Jamby Madrigal this afternoon.

One out of three slots.

And I'm fricken confused.
Can I leave that offer hanging for a couple of weeks or so?
Because options for other people are running out by that time, and should I swing out, there'd be this gaping 33.33% vacancy gone to waste.

What I really want is an internship at the SyCip Salazar Hernandez Gatmaitan Law Firm---chances of which are highly uncertain considering the fact that I have yet to submit my transcript and my resume, and that I have to lose my spleen competing for a slot.

What to do, what to do?

1. Leave the Senate's ass cold for a while and wait for the SyCip demi-gods.
1.1. If SyCip=YES, Senate=NO
1.2. If SyCip=NO (FARK-ASS!), Senate=GO

2. Sit. Stay. (Good dog.) But send resume still.
2.1. If SyCip=NO, Jom lauds good decision and is relieved.
2.2. If SyCip=YES, Jom says, "Ha, ha. You can't have me. Must suck for you." *inner sob.*

3. Forget SyCip dreams and never be able to put an end to what-ifs.

Ack. Sounds like the DLSU-UP-UST debacle from 3 years ago.

Need to hit the sack now.

Went to the mall with Kev (daylightbreaks) this afternoon after debate training.
Even if we walked and scourged the stores for almost 3 hours, and I didn't get to buy what I went there for (no more sizes :\), 'twas really fun picking and criticising stuff with him that I didn't feel tired at all. :D

Halfway through the "exploit" Kevin was begging to see a movie and had even faked interest over a Broadband Internet subscription just so he could sit. Haha. I've yet to find a person of the male species who's built for shopping.

Before this post sounds like I became the bitchy "you have to come with me and I'm not asking you to say yes because I'm going to drag you into every store anyway", I'd like to clear that I hadn't, and we, not just I, were shopping for ourselves.

I ended up buying a Php449 bottle of moisturiser that's supposed to do miracles in 28 days.
I shall post on the first day of February and say that it did. (At least I wish I'd post on the first day of February and truthfully say that it did.)

By the way:

I've just remembered why I didn't write up New Year's Resolutions last year.
And the year before that.
And the years before that.

It's because I'm lazy. :\

I write them on my birthday (07.Jan, to "redeem" not having written them 6 days before) instead.
Would be posting them under a "Friends-Only" post this Saturday so I don't "break tradition".

Gaaah. It's pretty obvious what should be first in that list.

AB Debate Series
Mia, Elaine, and I, as Team Legal Management A didn't make it to the Semis. :(
We broke ranked 2nd in the Quarterfinals tho, with a 4-1 standing (We lost to TDC's Joan, Kayleen and Bry by a 0.5 margin). :) None of us expected to go this far, considering the fact that all of us are amateur debaters who just got in debate this school year and are competing for the first time.

Pinoy Big Brother

I don't really watch the show oft, and now i've probably lost the main reason to try to.

Ate Say has been evicted out of ABS-CBN's Pinoy Big Brother yesterday. :( I didn't really want her to win in the end, because she won't need the money anyway (Hehe! Kyle, if you ever come across this, I'm sorry! I did shell out lots to vote for her!), but I did want her to be on the final four. :( I am rooting for kickass Nene now tho, so I might try to catch the show still. Just won't shell out money. Hehe.

And since it's almost 12 mn, HAPPY BEERDAY KEVIN! (daylightbreaks) ^^

Still taking 24 units.

Despite the fact that our classes end at 9pm and we don't have a class earlier than 12nn, this sem's schedule's pretty decent. We meet almost every other day, 4x a week. Even if they crammed Research Writing and Labour Standards on a Saturday, I'm thankful that we don't have to sit in Basic Accounting for 6 hours straight (We have 3-hour meetings twice a week).

I can't really say that my Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays are free though.
With me helping Kim out for the MMAB Pageant, the AB Debate Series, the UST Dialectics, the inter-major Cheerleading Competition, and the IIDC's coming up this semester, I'm on a leash.

When I left the AB Football Club last semester, I asked my coach whether it was fine if I train with the team once in a while, when I find time, but sadly, even if he said yes, I haven't used my spike shoes since. :(

Gah. Sorry I'm bitching about acads, co-currics and extra-currics again. :) It's just that I have yet to find a technique to juggle all these kitsch.
